Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 13th May 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to EzRemove AI ("we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user data when you use our website. We do not collect or store personal data directly except where needed to provide the service, manage credits, process payments, or protect the service from misuse. We use third-party services for AI processing, storage, and payments, which may collect and process user data. By using our site, you agree to these policies.
2. Data Processing & Third-Party Services
Our website integrates third-party services to provide AI-powered background removal and payment processing. These third parties handle user data independently. Below is a list of services we use:
- AI Background Removal API:We use FAPIHub for AI-powered background removal. Uploaded images are sent to the provider only as needed to process the requested background removal. Please refer to the provider's privacy practices for details about their handling of image data.
- Stripe: We use Stripe to handle transactions securely. Stripe may collect personal and financial data as required for payments. See their Privacy Policy for more details.
3. Cookies & Analytics
Our website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. However, third-party services such as Stripe or the AI API provider may use cookies for security and functionality.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- We do not store payment details. Processed images may be stored with our storage partner Amazon AWS so downloads can be provided, and are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours.
- The AI background removal API processes images temporarily. Its own retention and security practices are controlled by that provider.
- Stripe may retain payment details as per financial regulations.
5. Lawful Use & Content Safety
You must only upload images that you have the right to use and that are lawful to process. The service must not be used for illegal, abusive, exploitative, non-consensual, infringing, or privacy-violating content. We may refuse, suspend, or block use of the service where we believe it is being misused or where required by law.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR (For EU Users)
If you are located in the European Union, you have rights under GDPR, including:
- The right to access and request a copy of your personal data.
- The right to request deletion of your data (if applicable).
- The right to restrict processing of your data.
- The right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Since we do not store any personal data directly, you should contact the respective third-party service providers for data-related requests.
7. Security Measures
We ensure our website uses secure HTTPS encryption. Temporary image files uploaded to Amazon AWS are encrypted in the browser before upload where supported, and S3 server-side encryption is also requested for storage. However, data security also depends on third-party services like the AI processing API, Stripe & Amazon which implement their own security protocols.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with the last updated date.
